Hi folks, just getting back into the reloading biz. Can't really do anything yet til a friend with a LTC comes over, but I'd like to know your opinions on what are "acceptable" brass defects.
I Have a ton of brass held by said friend at the moment, but I'm sure there will be defects, and it's been years since I've touched it.
As I recall, some basic dings (small circular-type dents) or minor bends (not creases) on the case mouth are just fine, but creases, corrosion or head separation marks/bulges are the big no-no's.
I would really appreciate any thoughts you folks might have on this as I have literally a few thousand rounds of brass to sort through and while I want to discard anything unsafe, I don't want to trash stuff perfectly good with tiny flaws out of being ridiculously over-cautious.
Thanks in advance!
