waiting for renewal old one is good till 1/18 purchase????

Will the renewal process cause any problems if I go to make a purchase before my old permit runs out?
My old large wallet buster permit is good till 1/18

Been waiting 8 weeks so far found something I want to pick up and was wondering if this would cause a problem while going to purchase something at a shop?

It may be MA, but there is such a thing as being too cautious. I wouldn't impose any rules or regulations on myself that don't exist.

Make your purchase, your permit is valid until midnight of the expiration date listed on it and for the grace period after expiration if you have reapplied for a new one with receipt from your pd.
