Vintage Weaver K4 60B scope

Hello,

Just picked up one of these scopes. Would it be suitable for use on my sons Ruger 10-22?

The 10-22 will spend most of its time on the 100 yard rifle range at the club.

If anybody has some details or info about this particular scope, I am all ears.

I have a Weaver K-4 scope that came off my sporterized 1903 rifle. It’s a post and crosshair and was I surprised when I went to Ebay to see if it had much value. I guess they are collector items now, I wasn’t going to sell it, I just wanted to see what the value was. The only reason I replaced the Weaver was that I found a decent scope at a great price that was variable power.


The link below doesn’t give much info but shows what a used one can sell for. Is your’s a post and “single” crosshair? I would think it would be fine to use on the Ruger 10-22 but I’ll leave that for those more knowledgeable. Best of luck.

K4 is a very good scope. great .22lr scope! 100 yard paralex. I put a Bushnell 4x32 on my sons Winchester 190. The fine cross hairs are perfect for that rifle.
