Just recently my Thumbler's Tumbler has been making an outrageous amount of noise so I finally got my butt in gear and checked out the problem. Turned out the the threaded rod that holds one of the struts had broken. Now I'm hoping that the company is still in business. This is their UV-18 model BTW. Found a company in Oregon that carried the motor and this one has a switch as the original hadn't.
So the new motor was $55 + postage ordered it Mon got here yesterday.
Now the best part,I've had this thing for 30 years and I bought used and said person had it 5 years. So I figure $65 for 35 years service ain't bad.
Don't know how other company's cleaners hold up,but I give Thumbler's a big thumbs up.
