Ive seen this discussed several times, even mentioned it myself before.
Is anyone else doing it.

I will say i am now running the brass 650 orfice in my 1050. It does say in the manual not to do it.
It seem to be working but i only have 2400 rounds on it so far.

Is anyone else doing it?

I have used the brass 650 primer tubes on both my 550s and both my older rl1050s. never had an issue and I was reloading about 100,000 rounds per year on my one 1050 and about another 25k per year on my 3 other machines. I have heard the primer slide can be an issue on some of the 1050s but I never have had any problems. I bought my 2 1050s from a guy that did commercial reloading and who knows how many rounds had been reloaded on them so they were well broken in when I got them.
