Using 1980 mags 13 round that have "LE only" in ma

So did we ever determine if these 1980 mags with "LE Only" actually exist? Or is someone saying "Yeah, I think I bought these in the 80s" & they happen to actually say "LE Only" on them?

LE markings were never put on mags prior to 9/14/1994.

All of my pre ban mags have no le only markings on them. All though my oldest mags are 1991 era.

My hi cap Ruger mags from 1992 -1994 have no markings....all the newer ones have the LE/GOV use only and are dated 9/94
