Well, I thought I was going to be content with just one Japanese Imperial Navy Type-I rifle. But when this one popped up at the gun show for a buck-fifty, I couldn't resist.
Not quite as nice overall as my last G-prefix from the Brescia Arsenal, as it appears to show some wear from handling/use. But at least this fills the bill for a Beretta Arsenal model, and from the final serial block with an L-prefix. This one also shows evidence of wear from affixing a bayonet more than once.
Not much in the way of markings to capture with a camera on these guns. And I wish it wasn't so thickly overcast this morning, so that the deep plum color of the receiver could pop. But here are some pics, and thanks for looking.
