Tiger trout or brown trout

Powow river amesbury on a dry fly.



Supposedly f and g stocked it with browns but this doesn't look like a brown trout to me. I've never caught a trout this small so is it just a young brown or is it a tiger trout?

Juvenile brown trout should have some pink dots. The pattern is definitely not right. But god only knows what type of bastardation takes place at some of these hatcheries.

Yeah the browns I've caught in the past were larger and definitely had pink and blue spots this don't look like a brown at all. But having never caught one this small I was wonduring if it was something normal for a juvenile brown to look like.

I am leaning towards a juvenile tiger trout. The position of the eye and shape of the head are a little different than those of a brown.

I’m calling it a brown because the blue hue behind its eyes. I have caught them down the cape with a dull look to them and some almost yellow/orange. This is what most tiger trout look like.
