This is the finished Colt LW Commander. It was a little bit of a budget build but I think it's got a lot of bang. The original base gun was a nickel Commander which was maybe a bit too original for a carry gun conversion. The donor LW Commander made a better choice in the end. This one got a new set of sights, a Heinie Slat Pro on the rear and a Yost gold line in front. The Colt barrel was reused and a new EGW thick flange bushing was fit. The internals got replaced with E2 parts as well as a Harrison Design trigger. The frame was checkered 25lpi and "Bob Tailed" with a smooth EB MSH. The slide got a slight bevel and the edges were dehorned. The grips are a tobacco colored burl by Crystal at " A Woman's Touch". The finish is IonBond. There are a few slight blemished, but it's ready for some daily carry.
