SW1911PD or SW1911?

Hey guys!

I need some advice. I went down to Four Seasons today with the intent on purchasing a SW1911 Tactical Rail Series pistol. When I got there I saw the all black scandium frame version (also with the tac rail). Now I am confused! I like the weight of the stainless model, but the finish of the scandium.
Here is my question; Will the scandium frame hold up as well as the stainless frame? I shoot alot and am worried about the frame wearing out.
I already own the "bilboard" SW1911 in stainless and know nothing about scandium. Any help would be great!

Wear it out and they will make it right for you regardless of what it takes.

I read on another site somewhere, where a guy had over 8,000 rnds thru his and it was still like new. In fact he decided to spend some money and accessorize it after all that.

I'd guess it'll probably last as long as you want it.
