Thanks,

Craig,

I don't find any SA guns listed on the last published Roster.
http://www.mass.gov/Eeops/docs/chsb/firearms/approved_firearms_roster_02_2006_revised.pdf

They may be approved waiting for the next publication of the "List", so I would suggest that you give them a call and ask about it. If they aren't submitting it for MA and get a number of calls, they could change their mind and try for MA approval.

Taken from the FSG page:
Springfield Armory handguns will not be available in Massachusetts. The factory has said..."WE HAVE NO INTENTION OF GOING THROUGH THE MASSACHUSETTS CERTIFICATION PROCESS because the laws and regulations are not clear".

steel...my cousin is from new hampshire and he has 1 of those pistols...man is that thing awesome...ive shot a few 1911s before and none have felt like or shot as good as that gun...sux we cant get them in this suck state

I've called Springfield a few times trying to get one of their weapons in MA. They more or less giggle first, and then say not at this time. I suspect that means not ever - until we get a new AG, and some more favorable laws.
