I get the distinct impression that Sparky doesn't really give a crap. I've been in there once. Bought a box of primers. Took him about 10 minutes to ring it up by hand after sending smoke signals to Visa as I paid with a debit card. AFTER he rang it up, he asks if I want any bullets to go with the primers. Ya, because I'm trying to kill time until my kid is out of high school. He didn't ask earlier because he was too busy shooting the breeze with a guy who was seated on a chair on the shop floor.
If you're willing to stop in and looking for something particular, its worth a stop like any place else. But, if you're expecting someone to fall over themselves to make you happy, you'll want to shop elsewhere. Bob's Gun and Archery is 5 minutes away and he's much more accommodating.
