It's too hot to do some shooting at the outdoor range so needless to say I've been bored today. So I decided to take some pictures of some work I had done on my M&P 40 and Kahr CM9 over the last few months. I'm no professional photographer so I'm just using an iPhone and a .50 BMG dummy round to hold up the guns.

This was my first gun I bought a few years ago and since then I've had a competition trigger job done and the slide refinished in a matte stainless Cerakote by Lou at Business End Customs. Also I threw on some Hogue handall hybrid grips and used a black lacquer stik to fill in the engravings on the slide to make them stand out a little better. Lastly, a couple years ago I bought a Storm Lake 9mm stainless conversion barrel so it wouldn't cost as much to shoot (that was shortlived).

Here are some pictures of my Kahr CM9 after I had the slide, slide stop lever, and barrel polished to a mirror finish by Kahr:

Took a while to get the gun back from Kahr but it was worth the wait once I got it back.

Nothing too special or unique, just thought I'd share some photos of some recent work I had done. Enjoy!

I like the look. Great minds think alike, as my Shield looks similar to your 40, but damn, that Kahr looks real sweet. [wink] I'll have to save this thread to give Mrs. a73elkyss when she needs some ideas for the holidays.....

Thanks, yeah I guess we do think alike. I saw your Two-Tone Shield thread a few minutes ago-looks great as well. I really like the two tone stainless finish on guns.

The finish on the Kahr is awesome but wow I spend too much time cleaning the fingerprints off of it haha. Wasn't cheap either, the total including shipping was around $175 and it took about 2 months to get it back. I was quoted 14-21 business days but that was definitely not the case, worth the wait though I guess.

Great looking M&P and the nicest Kahr I've ever seen.
