Signikov?

I saw a SIG 556 chambered in 7.62x39 on a rack at Shooter Outpost in NH almost 2 years ago (I think feb 2014). I thought it was cool. Is this something different?
 
That is the new version the 556xi in 7.62*39. Slightly updated but the ones in 7.62*39 are rumored to have running issues. My original with a 10.5 barrel has been flawless.
