i know someone that believes a pump .22 to be the most likely small caliber rifle to be almost perfect for sound suppression

not gonna find too many who love those, but this guy sure does! i desire a Colt Lightning deep down in my soul...such a pretty gun!

It's buried in storage so I can't offer any pics, but I inherited my grandfather's Winchester Model 62 that was the training tool for dozens of kids. It's beat to pieces, heavily "patinated" as they say, and the rifling is almost gone after hundreds of thousands of rounds fired.

A million bucks wouldn't even tempt me to part with it.
