Put it all in a plastic bag or 3 - thick ones. Flat rate box. Tape the CRAP out of the corners and edges with some strong packing tape. (the flaps as well) and ship away. Get a nice night's sleep.

Just had a can of 5.56 shipped to me , the rounds were in a bag inside an.ammo can. I wouldn't over think it .......

Those boxes can get beat up.

I don't know if I would trust it. I get brass shipped to me that way, so far I didn't get any bent pieces, but the boxes sometimes get beat up.

Not sure if I would trust it with live rounds.

PS - I dont think the ammo will go off. A couple of weeks back I hit a .22 with a hammer 3 times on the side and nothing happened. Still, I would want it double boxed.
