Scored some TAC powder. Is it a preferred powder for .308?

So the chocolate santa delivered some TAC.

Its a great .223 powder. Right up there with Varget.

But how is it with .308? Is it a preferred load for .308 like it is for .223?

I ask because I'm not going to use it to make .308 that just goes bang. I've got some IMR 4007 for that.

I wondered the same thing but for 30-06. I was offered a few trades and part of it includes TAC powder.

Ramshot TAC is on that Garand load data list you sent me.

That just means it will go boom and not hurt the gun. Tac is one of the best for .223. I'm trying to figure out if its in the same league for .308.

I've got some IMR 4064 that will arrive within a couple of weeks. I should have said this but I'm wondering if I should just wait for that and save the TAC for .223

I'm not very versed in "powder" choices. Although my general observation is TAC from what I have read likes to be up there in load density. So better for 308 than 06 I guess. I have some other smaller case 30 Cal family cartridges it may work with also.
I figure at least I can load up several 100 of my 55 gn 223 practice loads.?
