Actually, it a marketing idea of genius! If you open it for any single item, like a bandaid, you have to buy a whole new kit, as it does not appear to be reclosable

Coghlans used to sell those. I tihnk you could buy them at WM. If you want to make your own look up ALtoids kits. All the stuff put in an Altoids tin. I think I still have the one I made in the basement somewhere.
