SAR-1 or Wasr10

I will most likley be purchaseing a AK saturday. I can go with a used SAR-1 for 350, no mags (might be able to work one in) or a wasr 10 for the same price, new in box with 2 mags ect.

Is that a good price on the SAR 1 ?? What should I do??

SAR1, better design from what I've heard. Just check the front sights on both to make sure they're not canted (twisted to the side). One look down the sights and it'l be obvious if one is. You can get mags just about anywhere.

SAR-1 is the better choice.

There's also a fix for the canted front sight base and trigger slap on that webpage if you should encounter that problem

agreed the SAR is better.

Trigger slap is common on all AK varients except for the real top of the line versions.

It's a simple and easy fix.

Mags are everywhere and about $10/ea

I picked it up at collectors in stoneham. I feel comfortable with the deal, The tag said $350 no mags. I asked them to throw one in and he said he would give me two. Plus they are taking off another 5% on all used long guns this weekend. And the no sales tax is a bonus. I will try to get a couple of pics into the gallery later today.
