Ruger 10/22 arrow launcher ?

Has anyone ever heard of this before? It says it launches arrows with .22 blanks.

What could be cooler than going down to the range and shooting off a few arrows at 100 yards with your Ruger?

Designed for jacking deer? I have found arrows in the woods lightly charred with the wad of a 410 shotgun stuck on the shaft. This is not a new idea for the deer jackers.

At the west springfield show last sunday I saw one of these in person.

I have seen a similar item from WWII. It was a device that attached to the end of your rifle to launch a string between ships (or anywhere) so that a rope could be strung. The pressure from the blank propelled it.

Every once and while you can find them on the surplus sites or at gun shows.

Never seen the idea used for arrows before.
