Jim Archer, the head of Citizens Rights Action League in Rhode Island, will address the meeting of the Rhode Island Republican Assembly on Thursday, May 14, at 7:00 pm. The meeting will be held at the Warwick Elks Club at 1915 W. Shore Road, Warwick RI. The Elks serve a pasta dinner beginning at 6:00 pm for short money.
Jim's talk is particularly timely in view of the increased attacks against the Second Amendment both in Washington and in RI.
The Rhode Island Republican Assembly is an organization representing the conservative wing of the state GOP. RIRA is working within the party to restore the classical Republican principles in the tradition of Reagan.
As you may know, the RI GOP has long been dominated by Chafee-like squishes who take liberal positions on RKBA and other important issues. Even the fondly remembered Sen. John Chafee was no friend of RKBA and sponsored anti-2A legislation in his day.
If you are interested in gun owners' rights in RI and want to make a difference, please come to this meeting and consider joining RIRA.
