Recoil spring questions for Compensated G17

I got a threaded barrel for the G17 and a compensator/muzzle brake. When the comp is attached, I get either failure to feed or failure to eject. From all my research, I need a lighter recoil spring. I can’t figure out what type of guide rod to order. My options are stainless, tungsten or titanium. Someone please guide me.
