bought a Ruger Standard model 22 off a friend who needed some money. it didn't work quite right, so I started replacing stuff with volquartsen parts. before I was done, I had replaced almost all the internals and spent near what I paid for it. feels a lot smoother now.
But, holy crap. now I understand why people don't take these things apart. took over 2 weeks to get through it all and I am seriously not a fan of how it goes together. I don't know what Bill R was on when he designed this thing.
