Questions for WW2 surplus guys

this medallion on Swedish AG42b has 'poke marks' over/top some some of the originally stamped letters/numbers. Any idea what it means?

sorry i don't have a better quality. that's the only one owner is able to provide with his phone camera.

I honestly didn't remember enough detail to intelligently answer your question, that's why I searched for it for you and me (I'm saving the page in my C&R folder).

yea someone from other board already gave me this link. I wasn't home when i got the pic and didn't feel like googling from a phone.
but yeah i got my answer and then some. apparently it's common practice to fake medallions and there is never a guaranty that medallion disc belong to a rifle.
well, that didn't make my decision making any easier. i wish i could look at the gun in person but guy is across the country. i guess i will pass. Ljungmans aren't cheap and buying cat in a bag isn't my thing.
