The consensus at the time of the first AWB was that 10 rds was still too much but they couldn't get anything less passed. Oh, definitely have an effect. The AWB flies in the face of Heller, and the politicians KNOW it. They still don't care.

I'd wager this gets less traction than the LAST time they tried it.

Yup, IIRC, it's been up a couple of times since the repeal in 2004. Never gets out of committee, though.
