I just realized I bought large pistol Magnum primers instead of regular large pistol primers.
Can I use them (the magnum primers) with 45 ACP.

Use them.
I've never noticed much, if any, difference between standard and magnum primers.

How fast-burning is your powder?

Wouldn't use something too fast burning, but EC may chime in with more experience.

Ive been using Winchester Large primers which can be used for both standard and magnum. I doubt theres much difference if they can do one for both needs. Been using them in my .44 MAG and .45ACP

I am not near max. I am loading 200grain copper plated over 4.5 of bullseye for my 45 ACP. If I remember the max was 5.2 or so.

Primers can cause changes to your load and pressure signs. If you're loading hot pistol rounds near the bleeding edge of max, I'd take it down a notch before switching to magnum. If you're just loading general below listed max or plink loads your not going to see any change.
