After a McMuffin and a McGriddle, son and I went to the range. He shot the 1936 M34 Beretta in .380 (American Eagle 95gr) , and I shot my 1937 M29 Walther PP in 7.65 using Fiocchi 73gr. I forgot how sweet this pistol really is, especially after I found a correct pre-war finger extension magazine for it. Son was having trouble hitting using the American Eagle ammo. I tried a couple shots and fount it was shooting about 6 inches low at 30 feet; you had to aim at the red line at 12:00. He also put a magazine from the PP on the target and did much better. He seems to do better with revolvers on single action. I also emptied one magazine of SD ammo out of my carry M13 Sauer 7.65 into his target as well.
