My MP has a trigger job from Greg Derr 4-5 lbs. I don't feel like I need a thumb safety since there is a tigger safety and you shouldn't have your finger on the trigger unless you are ready to shoot.

I kinda like compact and sub compact guns. I own the MP 9mm, MP 40c, G27, G30 and Para Warthog. But in the pic thats my friends g27, Sig 226 and P99. I would like a full size HK or Sig.
I my self love compact's, I think I have more compacts then full .I have all the compacts as above, The Warthog I have is blued, I also have the G30,PPS,seecamp,Beretta tomcat, P22. I am looking to get A H&K usp compact as soon as I sell one of my Rifles. I myself carry the Glock30. Love the Sub and compact pistols Don't get me wrong I still like full size pistols I have more than the Compacts , but I would never carry one just my preference.
