Part-time employment in RI

Hi everyone,

This is unorthodox but I am searching for a part-time position within RI; Providence County would be great.

I am a Soldier transitioning from active duty Army (fulfilled my initial contract) and currently attending online courses. My plan is to move to CA late December to attend Cal State LA for Political Science and International Relations using my Post 9/11 bill. I'm an Aviation Operations Specialist (15P) by MOS which entails lots of administrative work in the aviation field. I still maintain a secret clearance until 2022. At this moment, I am not tied to Reservist/NG calls and am waiting to be in Los Angeles to apply for reclass into Public Affairs Specialist (46Q).

Searching for any leads for part-time positions who have a veterans preference is a bonus. I am able to commute with a reliable vehicle. My resume and DD214 are prepared.

What kind of work you looking for? I know a retired guy down in RI that runs a landscaping and home improvement company that always seems to be looking for quality employees.

Sorry, I should have been more clear.

My areas of expertise and background will be best utilized in HR or administrative type work. More so, looking for any leads on state/federal positions.

All federal jobs are found here.... https://www.usajobs.gov/ There is not much in the way of part time stuff and the hiring process often takes a several months.
