Old Lee Pro 1000 - die question

I've got an old Lee Pro 1000 that was given to me. Its set up with Lee 9mm dies. How can I tell if they are carbide dies or not? Not a big deal if they aren't, but I'll just have to use case lube when I start reloading.

Only the sizing die would be carbide. The die itself should be stamped if it is a carbide. Carbide dies can be identified by looking at the edge where the case enters. You will see a seam where the carbide insert is pressed into the die.

LEE always had carbide.

Lee has both carbide and steel sizing dies.

And has for quite some time. As I noted the carbide are marked as such.

I stand corrected:the steel dies are not standard dies.mostly bottle neck so sorry.
