I've never had a .22 Hornet, but because I collect Lee-Enfields, I knew a few blokes down unduh before Australia went total batshit on guns.
Enfield sporters in .22 Hornet were a favorite of kangaroo hunters, according to them. It's sufficiently lethal, doesn't destroy much meat, and leaves just a tiny hole in the hide.
