M36 nickel. Bought it about 20 years ago, and considered trading or selling it a few times. Glad I didn’t though. They’re not easy to find these days.

By the way this thread should be in the gun gallery section. ;)

This one’s probably one of my favorite posted. It’s got that nice “Patina”

But seriously I do like that gun

With all this snubnose revolver Porn..I like to zoom in on the screw that holds the cylinder release...I appreciate it when it’s just a little bit f***ed up, you know the right amount!

Looks like a real tool. Don’t get me wrong I love all the nickel and wood grips. But I can appreciate something that’s been used and carried...im a collector but a “user” aswell

You like patina huh?
Check out the Colt model 1860. All original, matching, military proofs/ cartouche, and I’ve put about 30 rounds through it. Made in 1861.
Not a snubby but a prized item in my collection.

Some day I’ll pay the money and get the letter from Colt.

To me the “petunia”...Is what makes a collectible..But that’s also what I’m talking about with a slightly damaged screw. If you didn’t have the original screws for that it wouldn’t be a collectible anymore

To slightly continue this thread drift, here's a nice used and carried M1903 from 1932. A great summer/backup carry. [thumbsup]

Back to the snubbie, here's a photo of my Model 49 to make up for that stock photo from my original post...

Nice. Mine was made in 1911 and has the black hard rubber grips.
The finish picked up some surface corrosion sometime through its life but I’ll never refinish it. Still looks good and shoots great.
