So, I'm trimming some brass and then checking it visually and with a case gauge. The NPA
brass doesn't want to go completely in the case gauge unlike every other headstamp in the
mixed lot (LC, etc). It only goes up to the rim. I mic'ed my case gauge and it comes out
to ~ .379" which is pretty good and then I mic the cases and the rim is .380dia so there
is no way it is going to fit in the gauge. On a few I was able to push the case into the
case gauge and it did gauge correctly. So I am wondering if a slightly oversized rim would
create any problem in the AR15? It's only about 18 cases so I can toss it but I hate to.
It seems like pretty good brass with this exception.
