I built this loading bench over the last 48hr.
probably have 8 hrs into it
just put second coat of plolyurethane on.
i hate to drill holes in it to mount the presses.
made of two sheets of 1/2" sanded plywood and a few pieces of pine.
i added a second layer to the top of 3/4 (actual 5/8) pine laminated/glued 2'x6' board
it mesures 6 feet long by 2 feet wide.
i made it high backed (4 feet) and sides to keep things hidden a little.
a 50 cal box should slide under.
i tried to make it as light as possible but ridged and strong. (its a litlle heavy, I may have a little trouble moving it to my office on second floor).
i figured the weight of the loading supplies on the shelf will hold it down when resizing those pesky foreign 223 heavy brass cased with over sealed primers.
I should be able to get organized now[grin][grin]

the pictures are out of order

You definately want the weight. I recently moved from the garage to the basement and switched benches. The one in basement is much lighter and actually lifts and flexes during the upstroke of resizing. Luckily you have the lower set of shelves you can add weight to.
Good job...
