I've been thinking of chopping one of my 91/30s down to a 16" barrel. Hmm....

I have a 91/30 and want to do that also. Do you have a longer barrel? Muzzle break? Hard to tell from the pic. Looks great.

I recentlrecently completed the same conversion. I cut the barrel to 19" and it shoots great. I think my total was @ $220 after the scope and bipod. It was a fun project.
