My Galco Ankle Glove for my Glock 26 itches, hurts, strangles my leg etc

I carry a Glock 26 on my ankle (actually my calf, as "ankle" holsters are a misnomer - you carry them higher than your ankle!!) in a Galco Ankle Glove holster....while somewhat comfortable, with the design of it forcing you to pull the inner band with the velcro tightly, then wrap the outer velcro band tight, then the strap which attaches to yet another strap which you pull securely around your calf, which absolutely strangles your calf, and I itch like crazy even though I wear a knee high cotton sock under all of this!!....
Any other suggestions? I am going through bottles of Aloe (for the itching!!) like crazy, and the strangulation effect is probably going to force amputation of my leg in my elder years (LOL!!)....

I couldn't imagine carrying a G26 in my pocket. Get yourself a good IWB holster.

I don't know, could it be the socks?? If I carried an ankle holster, I think I would have to take my pants off to get it..

If its not comfortable then its not worth it... I would look at something other then an ankle holster.

I can't carry on my ankle unless wearing boots. It's moves too much and digs right into my bone.
