This sucker just rained bullets. I cast with the penta hollow point for the first run. I’m going to play around with a few different alloys with some ballistic gel to see what works best.
A nice feature of this mould is that it has a reduced diameter in front of the driving band. A bore ride section.
This allows you to run this bullet in barrels with zero throat which is common in the CZ pistols. I went from running a RN that was a little fat and I had to seat it deep to get it to chamber without issues. This new bullet solved that issue.
If you’re looking for a mould I really suggest spending the little extra and grabbing one from Miha. His designs are solid and his moulds are second to none quality wise.
