Colebrook company fined $1.2M by OSHA after fatal explosion
COLEBROOK – Five months after a deadly explosion rocked this North Country town, the manufacturer of a gun powder substitute has been fined a total of $1.2 million by the U.S. Department of Labor's Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).
Two men were killed on May 14 in the explosion at Millenium Designed Muzzleloaders, in the Colebrook Industrial Park. Following an invesigation, OSHA issued a total of 54 workplace safety and health citations with penalties totaling $1.2 million.\
