As I mentioned a few times here on the forums before, I'd like to expand my semi auto collection beyond my Romak3, US M1s and SKS rifles. Of course an SVT40 is on my list, and maybe a Rasheed, but there are others I see like FN-49s, CETMEs (which i've seen and heard about problems with feeding and accuracy on some), and of course the milsurp black rifle the FAL. Theres also a Romanian RPK style rifle thats been put out by Century lately that looks fun but i'm not sure if they're able to be shipped to Mass since they usually come with two 30 round AK mags and most companies won't wanna deal with the hassle of shipping w/out mags.
Are there any local shops in Mass that have a decent selection of military semi autos?

Collectors in Stoneham,

Terry Goode at Collectors Firearms & Militaria, 122 Bridge St., Unit 9
Pelham, NH 03076/Vinal Sq, Chelmsford, MA (he holds dual licenses, but only by appt in MA . . . I'll let him explain why to you [rolleyes] ).

Four Seasons gets some interesting stuff occasionally.

Milsurps:

Let me know the next time you'll be in the Marlborough/Clinton area (Route 495), and I'll PERSONALLY escort you to Pack n Postal.

I will then have to drag you out, fingernails scraping along the floor, checkbook empty.....

If not before then, plan on going while you're here at the end of September for the Marlborough show.

The FN49's in 8mm mauser, 30-06 and 7mm mauser are awesome. The Cetme i'm not too fond of with the silly charging handle it is the smoothest 308 i have ever shot and owned it has the kick of a 22lr semi. The VZ52 Czech 7,62x45 is nice too. I'm sure we'll have priv-partizan ammo soon for it too. I found a VZ52 with 1,500rds of ammo too.

I would grab a few new Russian Izhmash Saiga's like one in .223rem. and one in 308win. these are a hoot to shoot and while there affordable too and before the price gets out of site which eventually i have a gut feeling it will. Lets face it were getting a brand new russian AK47 in our favorite calibers.
