Not for everyone
Some like it and some just don't
But anyway.
Here is a full brisket that was slow cooked in an electric smoker for 14 hours using Hickory and Cherry wood for the smoke.

I'd be all over that ...... My brother was big into smoking a few years back , he did a pretty good job at it. Try doing a whole turkey , my brother did once , it was amazing.
Turkey is best deep fried. Put some cardboard down on the kitchen floor, then the propane cooker. No need to dry it off well — the hot oil will take care of it for you. Make sure you have a lot of oil in the pot.

🔥

Edited to add: don’t do this. You will burn your house down. It was a joke.

Every spring, I corn a brisket to make corned beef with a New England boiled dinner. Even though I've heard of BBQed brisket, I never made the connection.

Looks good! Where'd you buy the whole brisket? After Fairway closed, I have no idea where I can get one reliably.

Yea, late for Saint Pat but whatever. 10 days of salt curing.

Did smoked last year; I think this is going to be simmer kind of thing

Going in the pot tmrw I think.

For the folks who take things literally— don’t do this. In case you didn’t realize it, this is a recipe for burning yourself and burning your house down.
