McDonald ruling and NY state?

How do you think the McDonald ruling will effect Non-Res pistol permits in NY state?
People who own a second home in NY state (which I do) are effectively being banned from possessing a hand gun on there property.
Any thoughts?

Please post any law suites that might arise from this ruling.

Had it been held on the basis of the Privileges and Immunities clause, the answer would be quite clear.

NY's lack of reciprocity and lack of process for non-residents to access a "privilege" it gives its own residents has been ripe for a Court decision for some time.

Maybe when i move to MA next year i will try and maintain it and see what happens. If i notify them of the address change etc what will they say? Its now invalid in NY?
