mauser 22 rifle

i was at ron stricklands today and he has a mauser 98 in 22 l.r.
it is a single shot with sling and muzzle cover.he wants 595.00 for it.
what do you think ?

Don't know anything about them. Did you check out any other forums with Mauser experts on them?
