The only Mare's Leg holster I've seen was on an atv. It looked okay.
Something like this. This guy loves all makes of Mare's Legs.
I found him after this story. This would suck!

Must be nice to walk up a mountain to realize you lost all your ammo and parts to the rifle somewhere along the way

He had it mounted on the ATV and drove when it happened, must have been from the vibration.
