mag release on m&p

i know alot of people have the m&p here,great gun.
does anyones mag release button stick. after i release
the mag, i have to press it from the other side for it to
go back.

Send it back. There's probably a burr in there somewhere.

That should not happen. Weak spring or something hindering the movement of the release button. Has it done this from day one or did it just start to stick?

iv'e had it for a while now,put mabey over 1000 down the pipe. this is a new problem. never did it before.

Remove the slide, look down the mag well while working the release. You may be able to see what the problem is. Try a switch out to the other side, easy to do see your owners booklet. If still a problem send it in.

Remove it and see if there's anything in the hole that may be obstructing it.
