loose M44 handguard, any way i can tighten it back up?

recently the handguard on my M44 has become a little loose. after about 15-20 rounds i will have to give it a few love taps to get it re-adjusted. does anyone have any tips as far as what i can do to tighten things up on this beast?

You can try new barrel bands but other than that there isn't much you can do. Its just something that happens with Mosins.
