Looking for Gunsmith in north shore area

Trying to get a lantac dragon pinned and welded and one of the gunsmiths apparently doesn’t work with those because their hard to drill into?

Anyone know a place I can get this done?

That's weird, drilling a hole through a brake isn't rocket science, I'd assume not damaging the barrel is the tricky part.

Maybe Precision Point in Woburn? I've never dealt with them but I've heard nothing but good things.

Lantac dragon muzzle brakes are extremely hard and black nitride QPQ treated , the reason northeast doesn’t want to do the job is because the only way to drill through it is with a carbide bit , using carbide runs the risk of the bit breaking , especially when starting on the curved surface of the outside and then again when it breaks through the threaded area on the inside , been there , done that

We would rather not chance being the shop who destroys your $100 plus dollar muzzle devise with a busted carbide bit inside it

there’s a reason why these brakes were sold at one time with a pin hole already in them , it’s literally the only muzzle devise we won’t do
