Im not sold....youd be better off getting the Garmin...they make models with lights and even shockers built in...when not in use you still have a function(albeit limited) GPS

garmins a proven company, what they are trying to sell is overprice and not nearly as practical as the garmin units.
Theres also serveral company making these things....i just dont see what there trying to achieve there is nothing new about their product, they're not selling it cheaper than everyone else.....has fail written all over it.

It makes no sense to crowd fund somthing that you could just go buy

The smartphone feature is nice but for hunting with dogs I am sticking with Garmin Alpha.

We use a "FREE" APP "LIFE 360" to locate our members on our hunting club. It works with GOOGLE EARTH. All of our cell phones are coded into the program and as long as your phone is turned on you can touch the members on the satellite picture and enlarge the picture and be able to see within a few yards where he is. We have 500 acres which boarders 14,000 acres of government land we hunt. We also have had guys that have been hunting there for more then 10 years that have gotten lost especially after dark. It works great.

It also works great in knowing where your children are.
