Not a dealer but a distributor located here in MASS.

I called them up for an discontinued rifle. They said they have one left and offered to hold it for me. I said great, I'll call my dealer right now. Dealer called them to order. Surprise! ...no rifle. Great. I called the sales weasel at lewhorton back up for the story. Gave me some B/S.

Bottom Line: First interaction with them, but they struck me as sleazy.

Did you really expect a salesman to give up a definite comission so the gun could be held for someone who may or may not actually buy it? Who do you think they are - Four Seasons ?

Also, the salesman who had a chance to sell the gun might have given the comission to some other salesman if the "hold" were acknowledged.

Honestly, I did expect them to do what they told me they would.

They clearly didn't. And backpedled, sang and danced BIGTIME re it.

I posted the condensed version of the story, but a well known local dealer shares my opinion.
