Congratulations to Mark! Brent, you probably heard the story how he got hosed over in VT.

Congratulations to Brent! 99 offhand? What a stud. How many points do you have now? 86?

He had 2 save rounds in the slow fire due to poor pit service and he challanged for more time and was denied.

hehe! yeah, even I was surprised at my offhand score. Was just in the grove.

I have 24 points now. Just need the high leg!!!

I assume you're going out to Perry, then? When is the awards ceremony for that? I'll be there for NRA week. If the ceremony is Sunday or Monday night, I'll be there for ya, buddy!

If I am correct, the awards ceremony is Friday August 3rd. I am going to shoot both Reading LEG matches for more practice, even though I wont be able to LEG out unless there is enough people.

Good Practice tho. Should be a fun week in Perry that's for sure. To bad you are not going to be there that week. Would be cool to hang out down there.

Brent, I just noticed your last name is hyphenated... Did you get married and not tell us?

Heh, I will be fixing that in a few months. It was something I did when I was 8yrs old when my mom remarried, I was presented with the option to change my last name outright or tack on the new last name. If I knew that I would be getting this much attention now, I would have not done that.

:)

So if you ever get married, you can add another hyphen and take on your Wife's name too! [laugh2]

We won't give you any grief over it . . . we promise! [rofl] [laugh] [laugh2]

Just got a ruling from CMP that the points awarded will be 1 Silver (8pts) and 1 Bronze (6pts)

That puts me at 26 points with a high leg. I can leg out now before Perry!

But wouldn't it be great to Leg out at Perry; The greatest venue for Service Rifle shooters? Up on stage with your peers. Accepting congratulations from fellow shooters. Taking your place in history.

I am in no way saying all this because there is a Leg match in Hampden next weekend that I don't want to see you at. Honestly.

Dont worry, I will be shooting at Reading, MA CMP match this sunday at my home range. And I will be on stage at Perry to receive my badge either way :)

Good luck this weekend PatMcD!

Or I might swing up there for old times sake!

I'm just kidding, of course. Would love to see you, and anybody else next weekend for our Highpower championship on Saturday and the Leg on Sunday.
