Lee FCD locking rings

I'm having problems with the locking rings on my Lee FCD 45acp die. It's real hard to turn and I've even tried a little oil on, it is this normal?

Has any one else had this problem and found a way to cure it?

I think the rubber o-ring gets jammed up into the threads a little and makes it hard to turn. This has happened to me and I just sepaerated the two so the o-ring is under the lock ring. When you set the die to where you want tighten the sucker down and that will seat the o-ring.

I didn't get a rubber o ring, it must be caught up in the threads.

They all should come with one.
